Shockingly, if people like you do not act immediately, the Defense of Marriage Act will almost certainly be overturned!

On the day he was inaugurated, President Obama posted what he called "The Agenda" on the White House website. It included "the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act."

In fact, President Obama's campaign—and those of the liberals who lead Congress—was in great part bankrolled by a small, zealous network of Hollywood liberals and gay activists.

While you and I concentrate on raising our families, paying our taxes, and going to church, this elite has been plotting to take away our right to define marriage as a husband and a wife . . . and then to use legalized gay marriage to indoctrinate our children and violate our religious freedoms.

They will attack anyone who gets in their way as a bigot—and try to strip them of their rights.
That's why we must recruit two million Americans for marriage—people like you to tell Congress to STOP the plan to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act!

Otherwise, here is the discrimination that could spread across America . . .

  • In Massachusetts, where radical judges imposed gay marriage on unwilling citizens, schoolchildren as young as first grade are read books like King and King, which features a gay wedding between two princes, complete with a kiss.
  • Judges have banned parents from opting out their children. One father was arrested for trying to protect his first-grade son from such "instruction."
  • A Christian adoption agency was forced to shut down because it refused to obey Massachusetts' requirement to give innocent children to gay married couples.

The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) limits same-sex marriage to six small states.

In 1996, the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) passed Congress by 85% of the votes and was signed into law by President Clinton.

DOMA stops radical judges from imposing same-sex marriage on all of America. Without DOMA, judges could force all states to recognize gay marriages performed in the six small, liberal states where it now exists.

But we must get two million Americans, including you, to tell Congress not to abolish DOMA.

If Congress repeals DOMA, then gay marriages from Massachusetts, Vermont, Iowa, Connecticut, Maine or New Hampshire (the only states with gay marriage) will be spread nationally by lawsuits filed by gay activists in the other 44 states, forcing those states to recognize the marriages and therefore legalizing gay marriages there.

Without DOMA, all voter-approved marriage amendments to 30 state constitutions could be toppled by liberal state or federal judges.

Without DOMA, more school kids will be taught that people who think marriage is between a husband and a wife are bigots.

The vast majority of Americans agree with us. They don't want marriage redefined—or children indoctrinated.

But we must TELL Congress NOT to ABOLISH the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), or the "loud minority" of anti-marriage bullies will win. Please act now.

Thank you for lending your voice to this historic campaign by signing the petition. And if you are led, please donate to help us reach our goal of two million Americans—for marriage!
